Are you tired of throwing money away by taking a day off from work and driving to a seminar? If you answered yes to that question we have a great solution for you.
These are AARC approved as "Live", Instructor-Directed contact hours. AARC rules regarding "Live" Instructor-Directed courses refer to the ability to interact with the content expert live, not with producing the actual content live. During posted times you will be able to take any of our available topics that might interest you and receive "live" credit for attending the course.
All of the courses are pre-recorded and use a series of slides with associated audio. There is no special software to download, all you need is Windows Media Player. If your computer doesn't have this, then installing the Windows Media Player plug-in is done by two simple mouse clicks. Directions are on the Live Internet Courses page. However, you are welcome to call us for help if needed.
You have two options for questions or comments for the content expert. The first is simply picking up the phone and dialing the toll-free number posted above each slide. The second is via email. We welcome your comments and questions.
AARC rules also do not mandate a post-test for live content, therefore there is no post-test. However, a post-presentation evaluation must be completed in order for you to receive your certificate.
To receive credit you will need to do the following:
Pay for the course - Do this by choosing the "Pay Online" option on the Navigation Menu (5th option in Continuing Education) and then select "Register for Live CE Courses". Live courses are $15 per credit hour.
Sign-in during posted times - No password required
Listen to the entire presentation and visit any required links
Fill-out the post-presentation evaluation form - There is no post-test
Your certificate will be posted in the GET CERTIFICATES section (3rd option in Continuing Education) the next business day
Note: These are free to use - Pay only if you want credit.
